The following is a complete list of works. The author has all the rights for performance and rental-material.
1.- (1976) Poems by Nora Lange
3 songs for mezzo-soprano and piano. Included in the CD O. Wilenski Works Vol. 1
2.- (1976) Hommage to B.B.
For solo clarinet. Short virtuoso piece inspired on themes by Bela Bartok.
3.- (1977) 2 Fragments by Heraclitus
For voice and quintet (Flute, clarinet, piano, violin and cello) Written in 1977 for the Encuentros of Contemporary Music directed by Alicia Terziánn, and revised in 1984, this work has been played many times during the tournées and concerts of the ensemble. It is a musical-theater piece with comical moments.
4.- (1977) 3 movements for flute and piano
Included in the CD, it´s a piece of lyric moments alternating with others of rhythmic activity.
5.- (1978) Improvisos
9 short pieces for chamber orchestra. First prize Ensemblia (Colón Theater of Buenos Aires, of that year) Premiered and replayed many times, each piece is orchestrated with a different instrumental combination and are cyclic in form, the first being related to the last, the second with the one before the last and so forth. Only the centre one (the fifth) has a new structure.
6.- (1979) First String Quartet
Work in two contrasting movements that are played without interruption.
7.- (1979 rev. 1982) "Romances in Quintet"
This work was also written for the Encuentros of Contemporary Music.
8.- (1980) Nocturne for string orchestra
Divided into three groups, of strings placed the further away from each other possible. The first group is a solo quintet that plays only very soft scales. The second, the body of muted violas, playind a far away melody, and the third the rest of the tutti, playind an open fifth chord and making glissndi between the tones. All together, a night music effect.
9.- (1981) Improviso for piano
Short improvisation based on recollections from the Improvisos for chamber orchestra before mentioned.
10.- (1983) "La Leyenda del Kakuy"
Important work for a group of 7 instruments (flute, bass clarinet, trombone, piano, viola and cello) inspired by an ancient legend of the argentinian folklore. Winner of the first prize at the "Asociación Wagneriana" competition of that year.
11.- (1983) Sonatina for solo piano
Included in the CD.
12.- (1983) "Vaudeville" for oboe, english horn and bassoon
Short work with different sections in one contious movement and a light divertimento style.
13.- (1984) 33 variations on a theme by Beethoven
For trio of violin, cello and piano.
14.- (1985) 4 Inventions for one percussionist
One player for 25 percussion instruments.
15.- (1985) "Pasatiempos" for three trombones
Humorous work consisting of 4 different-styled sketches. Included in the CD.
16.- (1986) "Romancero del Desierto"
5 poems by Miguel de Unamuno for soprano, tenor and piano. (1986) The two singers don´t sing in duet form but alternate between the songs. This work is being prepared for a future CD.
17.- (1986. Rev 1989 & 2005) "Carmen´s Revenge"
Text by the composer. Making use of Bizet´s music as a basis for musical developement, it´s a satire and an homage at the same time. Three new imaginary adventures by the famous heroine. This work has been performed in Argentina in another version.
18.- (1987 Rev.2007) Praeludium + Salmody
The prelude is for violin solo. The salmody, using varios melodies from hebrew and christian liturgy is for violin, contra bassoon and piano.
19.- (1987) ... from the Psalm 77
For 12 voices a capella or doubling with instruments. The text is in hebrew.
20.- Sonata for piano
Written in 1987.
21.- (1987) Poems from "Invocation to Misery" by Shelley
For soprano and flute. Like visions, these miniatures (the longest is only 20 bars) try to depict the strange and macabre texts. Included in the CD Osias Wilenski Works Vol. 1

24.- (1989) "Triptyc" for solo piano
Very dramatic and difficult work. (about 20 min.long)
25.- (1989 Rev. 2008) Movement and Variation, for solo flute
The second part is a variaiton in fast tempo of the first part, which is very slow.
26.- (2002) Introduction and Sardana for wind quintet.
Homenaje a Cataluña, donde resido El tema de la sardana está inspirado en el último movimiento de la sinfonía Nº 1 de Johannes Brahms, pero teñido de un carácter jocoso.
27.- (1988 rev. 2002) "The Magic Pillow"
Opera in one act and two scenes. Text by the author, inspired by a japanese Noh theater play. The first version (1988), much shorter, was premiered in Argentina. The second and definitive version (2002) has 9 singers and a chamber orchestra accompaniament, lasting 1 1/2 hours. The idea is to present the same dream seen in two diferent ways: As a farse in the first scena and as a drama in the second. This "big" version was never performed.
28.- (2002) "Serenata per corde"
Work of a light a simple character, was written for a string group of the chamber orchestra fo the Teatro de Liceu.
29.- (2002 rev. 2007) “Carvajal”
Opera in two acts. Libreto by Jacobo Kaufmann. The plot of this opera is based on actual facts occured in México in 1590, concerning Carvajal´s family, of spanish origen and converted from the jewish faith , accused, condemned and finally sent to the stake by the "Santa Inquisición" exported from Spain to America.
30.- Second String Quartet
(Written in 1907) Work in four movements of about 30 minutes duration.
